Morrinsville is a small town situated in the Waikato, within a 30min-1hour drive of the 3 main townships (Hamilton, Cambridge and Matamata) it makes for a convenient place to stop. The Morrinsville cemetery is an ideal spot to take your reactive pups, it's nicely tucked away from the hustle and bustle of town. It's right on the edge of Campbell Park with gate access at the back of the cemetery, with it being mostly fenced in it makes for a good place to let your anxious pups get in some sniffs. Dogs are required to be on lead, however there have been a few instances where some dog owners haven't followed this rule, although it is a rare occurrence it pays to be extra vigilant. There are a number of taps around the cemetery which offer quick and easy access to water for your pup, there is also a dog bowl at the taps that are at the back of the cemetery. You rarely see other people as it's known for being a quiet and peaceful place, if you were to bump into someone, not to worry! There's plenty of space and areas to go to avoid interaction. Please be respectful and clean up after your pups, there are bins placed all around the cemetery so there is no excuse to leave a mess. Most importantly, enjoy the peace and quiet with your pups!
